As members of the UK Timber Trade Federation (TTF), Caledonian Plywood is committed to sourcing our plywood from well-managed, sustainable sources wherever possible. We were one of the first UK importers to sign up to the TTF’s Responsible Purchasing Policy which documents and rates our suppliers according to their environmental record in the supply chain.
We comply with all current waste regulations and separate wood and paper for recycling purposes. We are audited by SEPA (Scottish Environment Protection Agency) and are members of a packaging compliance scheme.
We also believe in providing a safe, enjoyable working environment for our staff and are in full compliance with all relevant health & safety practices.
Our commitment to meeting our environmental obligations includes a regular review of our policies in the matter. We do everything we can to ensure the products we supply and the service we provide are as environmentally friendly as possible.
